CCTV footage from Singha Darbar taken by CIB to find Top Bahadur's letter submitting person

KATHMANDU, May 12: Police are continuing work to find the absconding MP Top Bahadur Rayamajhi who is involved in the case of fake Bhutanese refugee case.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) had written a letter to the Parliament Secretariat asking for help in finding Rayamajhi. Federal Parliament Secretariat spokesperson Ekram Giri informed Ratopati that the CIB has taken the CCTV footage from the Parliament Secretariat today.

UML leader and MP Rayamajhi absconded last Wednesday after he was found involved in the case of the fake Bhutanese refugees. After that, he sent a letter to the parliament secretariat on May 8, stating he was ill and could not attend the parliament.

When Rayamajhi's letter came to the Parliament Secretariat while the police were still investigating, the Nepal Police Investigation Bureau CIB sent a letter to the Secretariat with a request for assistance.

According to the same letter, the CIB took control of the CCTV around the Speaker's office. According to sources, the CCTV has been taken by the CIB to identify the person who brought Rayamajhi's letter.
