Loktantrik Samajbadi Party backs JSP for Bara-2 by-election

KATHMANDU, April 2: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, which was initially preparing to field its own candidate for the Bara-2 House of Representatives by-election, has now decided to support Janata Samajbadi Party's Upendra Yadav.
Following the Nepali Congress' announcement of support for Yadav, the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party also announced its support for the JSP candidate.
This move is expected to bolster the JSP's chances in the upcoming by-election.
The Bara-2 HoR by-election is being held after Ramsahay Prasad Yadav was elected the country’s Vice President.
