KATHMANDU, March 17: Voting for the election of Nepal’s Vice President is currently underway at the federal parliament building at Kathmandu.

The voting began at 10 AM this morning and will continue till 3 PM.

Three candidates, Asta Laxmi Shakya of the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML), Mamata Jha of Janamat Party, and Ramsaya Prasad Yadav, of the Janata Samajbadi Party are vying for the post.
