Presidential Election: Vote count to begin soon, results expected by today evening
KATHMANDU, March 9: The voting counting of Nepal’s presidential election is soon to begin.
The results are expected to be acquired by this evening.
The election began at 10 AM this morning and will decide who will become the third president of Nepal.
The two candidates vying for the post are Ram Chandra Poudel of the Nepali Congress and Subhash Chandra Nembang of CPN-UML. Lawmakers from the House of Representatives, Provincial Assemblies, and the National Assembly will be casting their votes today to decide who will take on the role of president.
