New Internet technology for Dish-Home customers
KATHMANDU, March 2: Dish-Home Fibernet has launched a new Internet Protocol IPv6, through which the company has started giving service to customers since the start of the new year 2023.
IP V6 was developed after the limited number of IP addresses available in V4 worldwide was exhausted. There are 3.7 billion unique IP addresses in IPv4, while the number of IP addresses in IPv6 is said to be 3400 billion.
Since NAT technology is not required, IPv6 has better Internet access than IPv4 and is also considered more effective regarding security.
