CPN-UML decides to withdraw its support from the PM Dahal-led govt

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: The CPN-UML, key coalition partner of the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government, has decided to withdraw its support.

A secretariat meeting of the party held on Monday took a decision to this effect, according to Bishnu Poudel, Vice-Chair of the party.

The party’s decision came after PM Dahal decided to join hands with the Nepali Congress, the CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Janata Samajbadi Party in a bid to revive the then ruling alliance formed under the leadership of former Prime MInister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba in the upcoming presidential election.
