Actor Paul Shah Rape Case: Shah gets clean chit from Pokhara High Court as well, to be released from jail soon
KATHMANDU, Feb 26: Actor Paul Shah, who was accused of raping a minor, has been cleared of all charges by the Pokhara High Court.
Justices Dilliraj Acharya and Shreedhar Kumari Pudasaini found that the victim did not present sufficient evidence against Shah.
As a result, Shah will soon be released from jail. This verdict comes after Shah had already been given a clean chit by the Tanahun District Court, but was still imprisoned and fined Rs 1,000,000 for child sexual abuse by the Nawalpur District Court.
Shah had filed a writ petition against this verdict, leading to the recent decision by the Pokhara High Court to clear him of all charges.
