Oli suggests PM Dahal to elect either Madhav Nepal or Subash Nembang as new Prez

KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Chairman of CPN-UML, a key coalition partner of the Dahal-led government, KP Sharma Oli has suggested Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to elect either Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) or Subash Nembang, UML leader as the next president of the country.
The two leaders, PM Dahal and Oli held a two hours long meeting about the upcoming presidential election on Wednesday.
On his part, PM Dahal maintained that he will discuss Oli's suggestions with other parties as well.
PM Dahal from the beginning has been advocating for a national consensus for the presidential election.
The CPN (US) on Wednesday has also decided to file their candidacy for the post of president if the party is given a chance.
