Newly appointed CM of Sudurpaschim Province Shah to be sworn in today, preparing to expand Cabinet
KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Kamal Bahadur Shah of Nepali Congress has been appointed the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province.
Shah is scheduled to take an oath of office and secrecy at 3 pm this afternoon.
Earlier, the provincial government had collapsed after CM Rajendra Singh Rawal failed to get a vote of confidence.
Newly appointed CM Shah has been backed by the Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and an independent candidate.
The Nepali Congress has also summoned a parliamentary party meeting this afternoon to finalize the expansion of the Cabinet.
