PM Dahal, Oli hold talks in Balkot

KATHMANDU, Feb. 8: A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. Prachanda, who is also the Chairman of the Maoist Center, reached Oli's residence in Balkot on Wednesday morning for a meeting with Chairman Oli.
It is understood that the two leaders discussed issues such as government operations and presidential and vice-presidential elections. The presidential election will be held on March 9 and the vice presidential election will be held on March 17.
It is understood that there will be a discussion between the two leaders about who should or should not be sent to the vacant ministries after the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) left the government. RSP left the government after it did not get the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, the party has maintained its support to the government.
