Rabi meets PM Dahal and UML Chair Oli ahead of party meeting

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli on Sunday morning.
The meeting was held ahead of Rabi Lamichhane-led party’s Central Committee and Parliamentary Committee meetings.
After the Supreme Court declared Lamichhane’s Nepali citizenship illegal, Lamichhane who was the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister lost his parliamentary position and is pressurizing PM Dahal to reappoint him to the same post. 
Lamichhane has also warned PM Dahal of quitting the government if the party is not given the Home Ministry.
PM Dahal on his part has been maintaining that Lamichhane cannot be made Home Minister unless his passport related case is settled.
