Nepal’s first governor Himalayan Shumsher JB Rana no more

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Himalayan Shumsher JB Rana, the first governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, passed away at the age of 95 years at 6AM on Sunday.
Rana was undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital. He has been suffering from Parkinson's disease.  It is a disease that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. Symptoms usually begin gradually and worsen over time. As the disease progresses, people may have difficulty walking and talking.
