Deputy Speaker Rana assumes office

KATHMANDU, Jan. 23: Deputy Speaker Indira Rana has assumed her office at the Parliament Secretariat at Singhadurbar today.  
She assumed her office at Singhadurbar after taking the oath of office and secrecy at the President's Office, Shital Niwas. 
General Secretary of Federal Parliament Secretariat Dr. Bharatraj Gautam, secretaries, and other officials at the Secretariat welcomed the newly-elected Deputy Speaker.
Rana was elected the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) from the election at the HoR meeting held on January 21.
