Ghimire files candidacy for the post of HoR Speaker

KATHMANDU, Jan. 18: UML's Devraj Ghimire has filed his candidacy for the Speaker of the House of Representatives on behalf of the ruling coalition party. He registered his candidacy for Speaker on Wednesday.
Ghimire filed his candidacy with the proposal of UML MP Subas Chandra Nemwang and the support of Hitraj Pandey of Maoist, Rabi Lamichhane of RSP, and Rajendra Prasad Lingden of RPP. Ghimire is an elected Member of Parliament from Jhapa 2.
Parliament Secretariat has given time to register nominations from 1 pm to 4 pm today.
