Election of Speaker: CPN-UML  to file candidacy of Ghimire

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: The CPN-UML, a key member of the ruling alliance has declared to file candidacy of Dev Raj Ghimire for the post of Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).
According to Subhash Nembang, Vice Chairman of the party, the party took the decision as per an agreement reached between UML, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
Besides, the CPN (Maoist Center) and the UML had earlier agreed to make KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) the Prime Minister turnwise during the next five years. 
Likewise, the post of President has been given to the UML while the post of Speaker of the HoR will also be shared  turnwise by the two parties.
