Cricketer Lamichhane released on bail (photos)

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Sandeep Lamichhane, former Nepali Men Cricket Team’s captain, has been released on bail on Friday.
The Patan High Court on Thursday issued an order to release Lamichhane who was accused of raping a minor on bail of Rs 2,000,000.
A joint bench of Justice Dhurba Raj Nanda and Ramesh Dhakal issued an order to this effect.
Lamichhane was in police custody.
As the court issued the order late on Thursday evening, Lamichhane was released only on Friday.
