Patan High Court orders to release cricketer Lamichhane on bail

KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The Patan High Court on Thursday issued an order to release Sandeep Lamichhane ,who was accused of raping a minor, on bail of Rs 2,000,000.
A joint bench of Justice Dhurba Raj Nanda and Ramesh Dhakal issued an order to this effect.
Lamichhane was in police custody. 
As the court issued the order late on Thursday evening, Lamichhane will be released from jail only on Friday.
