KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The ruling party CPN (Maoist Center) has staked its claim for the post of the Chief Minister (CM) in the three provinces namely Bagmati, Karnai and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
“We have staked our claim on Bagmati, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces and if we have to share the power with our other alliance member, we may take Bagmati and Karnali and give others to other members,” a source close to Prime Minister Dahal told Ratopati.
Rajkumar Sharma, Salikram Jamarkattel and Khajraj Bhatta are very much likely to be the CM of Karnali, Bagmati and Sudurpaschim Provinces from the CPN (Maoist Center).
Likewise, the CPN-UML, a key member of the ruling alliance, will get Gandaki and Province 1. Besides, the party has also shown its interest in Sudurpaschim Province along with Nagarik Unmukti Party. Likewise, the Janata Samajbadi Party and Janamat Party are very much likely to rule in Madesh Pradesh turnwise.
