PM Dahal urges CPN (US) chair Nepal to join the govt

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) to join the government during a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
It has been learnt that the two leaders also discussed unification of the left wing parties in the country.
So far, the CPN (US) has not extended its support to the government formed under the leadership of Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
PM Dahal is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence from the parliament on January 10. It is yet to be seen if the CPN (US) supports PM Dahal or not in the days to come.
