PM Dahal to take vote of confidence on Jan 10
KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to take a vote of confidence on January 10.
Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal was appointed as the new Prime Minister last week.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Dahal as the new PM of Nepal after the Nepali Congress being the largest party in the federal parliament failed to acquire a clear majority in the House of Representatives as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and stake a claim to form a new government in the given deadline.
