Standing committee meeting of CPN (US) to decide on government continues

KATHMANDU, Dec. 31: CPN United Socialist Party will decide whether or not the coalition of UML, Maoist Center and other parties, will go to the government. Standing committee member Vabishore Parajuli informed that the meeting of the standing committee at the party office on Saturday will decide on this.
Current affairs are being discussed in the ongoing meeting. He said that today's meeting will decide whether to join the government or not. He said that in the meeting, there will be a comprehensive discussion about the future action plan of the party and there will be a serious discussion about why the votes did not come as expected in the last election.
He said that there has been no discussion in the party about uniting with UML and the party is not in favor of uniting with any party in the current context. He said that the unity with UML is only a rumor. In the ongoing meeting, party president Madhav Nepal presented the agenda of the meeting, while senior leader Jhalnath Khanal has given a briefing about the current situation.
Standing committee members are giving their opinion in the meeting. There will be a wide discussion about how the new coalition was suddenly formed and how the Unified Socialists will move forward. Leader Parajuli said that the meeting will continue till tomorrow, as the agenda of the meeting and the discussion topics are many.
