Dahal to be sworn in as new PM on Monday

Kathmandu - Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) is scheduled to be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the cpountry on Monday.

According to the Office of President, preparations for the oath-taking ceremony of the Prime Minister are being made for Monday after Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' staked his claim to be the next Prime Minister with the majority before President Bidyvi Bhandari.

According to Clause 2 of Article 76 of the Constitution, Dahal submitted the claim to be the Prime Minister with the support of 169 MPs including the CPN-UML.
