Oli and Prachanda agree to be PM turnwise, President, Speaker to UML

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) have agreed to be the Prime Minister turnwise for the next five years.
Likewise, the post of President and Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) are also granted to the UML.
The Nepali Congress being the largest party in the federal parliament failed to acquire a clear majority in the House of Representatives as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and stake a claim to form a new government in the given deadline. The CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Center) have now agreed to share the power turnwise for the next five years which means Dahal will be the next Prime Minister for next two and half years followed by Oli for next two and half years.
Besides ULM, Maoist Center is backed by Rastriya Swatantra Party, RPP, JSP, Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
