Meeting of ruling alliance underway at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: A meeting of the ruling alliance – Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha Party – is currently underway at Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Key leaders of the coalition members along with other leaders are present at the meeting being held at the Prime Minister’s Office at Baluwatar.

This is the first meeting of the ruling alliance after the announcement of the general election date.

A Cabinet meeting held earlier on Thursday took a decision to hold the elections of federal and provincial level on November 20.

The meeting will mainly focus on strategy for seat sharing in the upcoming polls.
