COVID-19: 260 new cases confirmed on Thursday

164 new cases of COVID-19 detected in Kathmandu Valley.

KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepal on Thursday recorded 260 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 3,844 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Of them, 206 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases has reached 1,171 as of Thursday afternoon.

Similarly, as many as 72,320 people received COVID-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours.

Of the total new cases recorded today, 164 were detected in Kathmandu Valley alone including 137 in Kathmandu, 23 in Lalitpur and four in Bhaktapur districts.
