FinMin’s resignation is a message of morality: Chair Dahal

KATHMANDU, July 7: Addressing the central committee meeting of the party, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has maintained that resignation of Finance Minister Janardan Sharm has sent a message of morality.

“Resignation of the Finance Minister was not a compulsion. He resigned to facilitate the investigation of charges imposed upon him,” Dahal said.

Besides, Dahal also said that if Sharma had not resigned the opposition party was conspiring to push the government and ruling alliance into danger.

Likewise, Dahal also stated that outgoing Finance Minister Sharma is innocent and has not done anything wrong.
