COVID-19 cases rise again: 113 people test positive in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, July 6: As the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirms the BA.5 subvariant of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Nepal, the country is witnessing a rise in the number of new cases.

According to the latest data from MoHP, as many as 113 people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday. The number was 90 on Tuesday.

Similarly, there are currently 471 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
