2.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine arrive in Nepal for children aged between 5 to 11 years

KATHMANDU, July 3: As many as 2.4 million doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in Nepal which will be administered to children aged between 5 to 11 years old.

According to Dr Surendra Chaurasiya of the Department of Health Services, Nepal has received 2,399,300 doses of COVID-19 through the COVAX facility on Sunday.

These vaccines will be dispatched to 27 districts where the COVID-19 vaccination drive is currently being held.
