NC, CPN (MC) preparing to recall its ministers pressuring CPN (US) to change Chief Minister

KATHMANDU, July 1: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (Maoist Center) have begun preparations to recall all its ministers in the Bagmati Provincial government to exert pressure on the CPN (Unified Socialist) to change the Chief Minister.

Currently, Rajendra Prasad Pandey of CPN (US) is the Chief Minister of the province.

Both the NC and CPN (US) want a change of Chief Minister in the province.

“If Chief Minister Pandey refuses to resign from his post, the party has decided to recall its ministers from the government,” said a Provincial Assembly member of NC.
