Newly appointed ministers sworn in today

KATHMANDU, June 27: The government on Sunday appointed five new ministers as the CPN (Unified Socialist) decided to recall its ministers from the government and send a new set of ministers.

These new ministers took an oath of office and secrecy amid an event held at the President's Office on Monday.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath to these ministers.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed Jeevan Ram Shrestha as Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Metmani Chaudhary as Minister for Urban Development, Bhawani Prasad Khapung has been promoted to Minister for Health and Population and Hira Chandra KC has been appointed State Minister for Health and Population.
