Key leaders of ruling coalition at Baluwatar to discuss SPP
KATHMANDU, June 19: Key leaders of the ruling coalition have gathered at Baluwatar, Kathmandu to discuss the State Partnership Program (SPP) with the United States of America (USA).
Leaders including Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal and Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party, Upendra Yavad among others are currently at the Prime Minister’s Office Residence at Baluwatar.
In the earlier meeting held among the leaders, the leader had forged a conclusion that Nepal must send a letter to the USA denying the agreement.
Likewise, the International Relations Committee under the parliament has already directed PM Deuba not to sign any sort of agreement or understanding that stands against the non-alignment policy of the country during his upcoming visit to the USA.
