Govinda Bandi appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs

Bandi to be sworn-in at 2 PM today

KATHMANDU, April 7: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed advocate Govinda Bandi as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Thursday.

Newly appointed Minister Bandi is scheduled to take an oath of office and secrecy at 2 PM today.

Bandi had played a significant role in preparing an interpretative declaration while Nepal ratified the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-Nepal compact.

Likewise, the out-going Minister Dilendra Badu has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Supplies, according to Purna Bahadur Khadkha, vice-president of Nepali Congress.
