Amid political uncertainty and surging COVID-19 cases, HoR meeting tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Amid the political uncertainty and the surging COVID-19 cases, a meeting of the House of Representatives is summoned for Sunday.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 1 PM tomorrow.

The meetings scheduled earlier on different dates were postponed due to the general conventions of major political parties and the COVID-19 worsening COVID-19 situation.

The meeting has been summoned at the time when the major political parties are seen divided on conducting the local level election, the CPN-UML, the main opposition party, has been obstructing the House proceedings and the country has been completely hit by the third wave of COVID-19.
