Hridayesh Tripathi announces new party

KATHMANDU, December 14: Hridayesh Tripathi, former Minister and coordinator of Independent Political Group, announced a new political party named Janata Pragatisheel Party (People’s Progressive Party) on Tuesday.

Organizing an event in the capital, Tripathi announced a new political party.

Earlier, Tripathi had joined the government-led by the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli after winning the election with support from the CPN (UML).

Tripathi is looking forward to uniting all the scattered and unsatisfied groups and political leaders in the Terai region, according to the sources.
