HoR meeting ends in six minutes, deferred for Thursday

KATHMANDU, September 27: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) was held only for six minutes on Monday.

Amid sloganeering UML lawmakers, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota requested UML lawmakers to support the government to run the House session smoothly as the government has been unable to conduct various important discussions due to such continuous obstructions.

The next meeting of the lower house has been scheduled for this coming Thursday.

Since the very beginning of the House session, UML lawmakers have been obstructing the meeting accusing Speaker Sapkota of playing a vital role in the split of the CPN (UML).
