NC reschedules 14th General Convention from Nov 25
KATHMANDU, Aug 15: he Nepali Congress has rescheduled its 14th General Convention from November 25 to 29 later this year.
A central working committee meeting of the NC took place at the private residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha, decided to this effect on Saturday.
According to central member Ram Krishna Yadav, the CC meeting fixed the new date for the general convention as time constraints did not permit it to hold the general convention on earlier slated date.
Leader Yadav further shared that the meeting also decided to finalize the name list of the party's active membership by August 18, submit it to the party president on August 19 and to make it public on August 20.
Similarly, ward level conventions will be held on September 3, local level convention on September 12, and provincial convention on September 17. Similarly, constituency level (the House of Representatives (HoR)) convention and district assembly having a single constituency will be organized on September 21.
Similarly, the district convention of other districts will be called on September 26 while province assembly will be organized from October 27 to 29.
