Top brass of ruling alliance holding discussion at Baluwatar
KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Top leaders of the ruling alliance are holding a discussion at the official residence of the prime minister in Baluwatar.
Bishnu Sapkota, press aide to CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ told Ratopati that the top brass of the Nepali Congress (NC), Maoist Center and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) have been holding a meeting since 11 AM on Sunday.
Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist Chair Prachanda and Upendra Yadav, Chairman of JSP among others are present at the meeting.
The leaders are reportedly discussing the report submitted by a task force led by NC General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka.
Earlier, the task force formed to prepare a common minimum program for the operation of the government handed over its report to PM Deuba, Prachanda, Yadav and Rastriya Janamorcha Chair Chitra Bahadur KC on Friday.
The report is also being unveiled on Sunday, which will be followed by Cabinet expansion, according to sources.
