Lumbini Province Assembly’s budget session prorogued

BUTWAL, July 16: The budget session of Lumbini Province Assembly has been prorogued effective from Thursday midnight.
Province Chief Dharmanath Yadav, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, announced the prorogation of the eighth session of the provincial assembly.
The prorogation comes at a time when the annual budget for the fiscal year 2021/22 is less likely to be endorsed by the assembly.
