Eighth session of of National Assembly to kick off from today

KATHMANDU, July 1: Eighth session of the National Assembly (NA) is scheduled to kick off from Thursday. 

President Bidya Devi Bhandari, June 24, called the fresh session of the National Assembly for 4PM at the New Baneshwor-based Federal Parliament Building .

President Bhandari announced the Summer Session of the 59-member upper house of parliament at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers as per  Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

According to Dr Rojnath Pandey, spokesperson for the Federal Parliament, all the necessary preparation for Thursday’s meeting have been completed.
