“Prez Bhandari, PM Oli committed crime against constitution"

KATHMANDU, June 27: Advocate Om Prakash Aryal said that President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli committed a crime against the constitution. 

Submitting his debate note on behalf of the writ petitioners on the House dissolution case being heard at the Constitutional Bench, on Sunday, advocate Aryal said that President Bhandari staged a kind of coup. 

In his debate note, Aryal argued that repeated moves to dissolve the House was not only unconstitutional but also a crime against the constitution. 

“It would be appropriate for the court to draw the attention of parliament to make the violators of the constitution accountable for their protection of the legitimate system.”
