House Dissolution Case: Petitioners now have 2.35 hrs, to conclude debate on Sunday
ATHMANDU, June 25: Friday’s debate on the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been over. With this, the petitioners’ legal practitioners will have only 2 hours 35 minutes of time spared to plead over the petition.
Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR, who is also leading the five-member Constitutional Court to hear the case, adjourned the hearing after informing the petitioners that they have 2 hours and 35 minutes left.
Senior advocate Shrihari Aryal, advocate Dr. Din Mani Pokhrel, Sunil Pokhrel, Tikaram Bhattarai, senior advocate Mukti Pradhan and Gopal Krishna Ghimire pleaded on behalf of the petitioners on Friday.
The debate of the legal practitioners on behalf of the writ petitioner will end on Sunday.
