Oli, Nepal form 10-member task force to settle intraparty disputes
Nembang and Rawal will lead two sides
KATHMANDU, May 16: Prime Minister and Chairman of ruling CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli and party’s senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal on Sunday formed a ten-member task force to settle intra-party disputes.
A one-on-one meeting between Oli and Nepal, that took place at Singha Durbar, formed the task force, including five leaders each from both sides.
Leader Nepal speaking to media persons after the meeting said that Bhim Rawal will lead his side. The other members from his side include Ghanashyam Bhusal, Surendra Pandey, Raghuji Pant and Gorkarna Bista.
Similarly, an Oli-faction, which comprises Bishnu Poudel, Pradeep Gywali, Shankar Pokharel and Bishnu Rimal led by Subash Nemang.
A meeting of the leaders of both the sides on Friday evening had entrusted Oli and Nepal to pick the members of the task force to sort out things and resurrect the party as it was on May 16, 2018.
The panel is required to submit its report within three days.
