Prez Bhandari summons House session for May 10, PM Oli to seek vote of confidence

KATHMANDU, May 2: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday summoned the session of the House of Representatives (HoR) for May 1o at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. 

Issuing a press statement, the Office of the President, stated that the House session was summoned as per Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to take a vote of confidence during that session as per the Article 100 (1).

According to a minister, the House session for May 12 has been called only for the purpose of taking a vote of confidence by the prime minister. “Budget session will be called later on,” he said.
