First day of prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley (photo feature)

KATHMANDU, April 29: The three districts in the Kathmandu Valley have enforced week-long prohibitory orders starting 6 AM on Thursday. 

Operation of all the public transportation and private vehicles except for those designated as emergency ones has been restricted. Most streets in the Valley have worn a deserted look. 

Movement of people has been restricted. Those who were found defying the orders were seen kept at holding centers at various places.
