CA member Siddhiqi dies of COVID-19

KATHMANDU, April 25: Constituent Assembly (CA) Member Mohammad Siddiqi died of COVID-19 on Saturday, Medical Superintendent of Bheri Hospital Dr Prakash Thapa confirmed.
She was 62.
Siddiiqi was admitted to the hospital's isolation ward some two weeks ago after she tested positive for coronavirus.
Elected from Nepali Congress in the CA, Siddiqi was active in democratic movement, social services and human rights for a long time.
She was also the founder chairperson of Fatima Foundation Nepal established in Nepalgunj.
