Transportation resumes along Beni – Jomsom route

Beni (Myagdi) - The Beni – Jomsom road stretch which was cut off after Kaligandaki river breached its bank on Thursday resumed operation from Saturday morning on a single lane. 

The vehicular movement along the route – which connects the trans-Himalayan district of Mustang to the national highway – resumed after repair works were carried out at Bhirkot section. 

The flooding in the Kaligandaki river had cut off 30 metres of the road at Bhirkot in Annapurna rural municipality – 6.
