RSS correspondent feted on police day

Bhimduttanagar - Sher Bahadur Singh, the correspondent for the National News Agency (RSS) was feted on the occasion of the 62nd Police Day amidst a programme here today. He was honoured in recognition of his contribution to fighting against social misconducts and malpractices through the means of journalism. 

Mahakali Zonal Police Chief Senior Superintendent of Police Sushil Bhandari honoured him by offering a letter of appreciation and a shawl. 

Singh is the chief of RSS Mahakali zonal office. Likewise, police officers and other security employees completing the duty successfully were bestowed honour , the District Police Office, Kanchanpur said. On the occasion, heartfelt tribute was paid to the police personnel attaining martyrdom in the line of duty.
