Man held on charge of raping grandchild

Gulariya, Bardiya - A man was arrested by the police on the charge of raping his six-year-old granddaughter at Khuntipurgaun of Barbardiya Municipality-11. 

The 50-year-old grandfather raped the child as no other family members except them were at home. Further investigations into the case are underway, the District Police Office, Bardiya said. The child is under the protection of the Women and Children Services Center.
