Dry landslide blocks Tamghas-Ridi route

Gulmi - Traffic service along Tamghas-Ridi road section in Gulmi has remained disrupted since this morning, following a huge dry landslide at Bhangari near Dubichaur of Resunga Municipality-13. 

Vehicles en route to Palpa, Butwal and Kathmandu from Tamghas and scores of passengers have left stranded in the midway after the landslide blocked the road. 

Gulmi Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Dhungana said they are facing challenges to remove the landslide deposition as a fall of dry mass of earth along with big rocks is unabated since the morning. According to him, there seems no possibility to resume the service today.
