FNJ Gulmi chapter establishes COVID-19 fund

Kathmandu - In the wake of the growing cases of COVID-19 and even the journalists testing positive to the virus, the district chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has decided to set up COVID-19 prevention and control fund.

The FNJ district chapter meeting on Friday decided to set up a fund of Rs 150,000 aiming at preventing and controlling the spread of coronavirus among the journalists in the district. District Chair Navraj Bhusal shared that they decided to manage the FNJ office building as quarantine as media persons were found infected with COVID-19 of late.

The district chapter has also distributed sanitizers, face masks and other protective materials to the media persons.
